“Mentoring is powerful!” was one of the messages that came out of the Business Mentoring Programme Celebration on Thursday 12thSeptember.  Representatives from local businesses and charities came together to celebrate the success of the Business Mentoring Programme – a project funded through the Transforming Local Infrastructure from the Cabinet Office and delivered by Slough Business Community Partnership (SBCP) and Slough Council for Voluntary Services (SCVS).  The programme presents an opportunity for employees from local businesses to use their skills and expertise to provide support and guidance to a manager of a voluntary group.

Delegates came together to share their experiences of the mentoring programme and were presented with certificates in recognition of their commitment to the programme.  The feedback demonstrated how mentors have benefited at a personal and professional level and the mentees gained invaluable insigh
